Fresh Pac’s growers in Baja California have a rich tradition of growing premium quality chili peppers and tomatillos for the Mexico market.

In 2012, Fresh Pac launched a chili pepper program for the United States market that features an excellent supply of the most popular varieties:

Jalapeno – Beautiful, dark green, and cone-shaped, these popular thick flesh peppers are rich in flavors with medium to hot heat.
Serrano – Dark green, slender and thin skinned, these spicy peppers are very hot.
Anaheim – Light to dark green and long with a tapered bottom, these thick-skinned peppers feature mild to sweet flavors with moderately hot heat.
Caribe – Bright yellow, cone-shaped, with thick flesh, these attractive peppers range from mild to medium heat.
Poblano – Often referred to as a Pasilla, these dark green, heart shaped, thick skinned peppers have a deep, rich flavor and mild heat.
Tomatillos – A key ingredient in Latin American green sauces, tomatillos are firm, bright green and offer the perfect tartness for recipes.
