Fresh Pac International was established in 1992 by Jay Kawano and several local growers whose rich traditions of family farming span generations in California and Baja California.

Fresh Pac’s vertical integration, from breeding, growing, shipping and distributing, offers our customers grower-direct quality backed by a comprehensive food safety program.

Recognized as one of the leading growers, shippers and importers in the United States, Fresh Pac continues to grow and ship the same premium quality commodities that our growers have specialized in for generations:

Fresh Pac’s fruit and vegetables are distributed from our San Diego warehouse and from our sister company, Produce International, on the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Terminal.

Fresh Pac is also affiliated with one of California’s largest independent strawberry growers, Well-Pict Berries. Fresh Pac grows and ships Well-Pict’s proprietary strawberries and raspberries varieties in Southern and Baja California.
